Many electronic components are delicate and require a dry dusting method and no touching with dry soft cloths. Many resort to using canned air to blow out their products. This works great for keyboards but in reality, you really shouldn’t be using it on your computers especially laptops and other electronics that do not totally turn off. Sometimes the small amount of moisture created by the canned air may damage your equipment. For me, I avoid using canned air and use rocket blowers and blower bulbs. These types of bulbs pull air from the room and pushed it out so fast that it removes the dust. If you are thinking about trying one out and need a large one I try out the Staoptics Air Blaster Large Compressed Blower Bulb.

The Review

Staoptics Air Blaster Large Compressed Blower Bulb

This is a short review. There’s not much to say. It’s an air duster and works.

On first impressions, it’s made well. I didn’t find any sort of manufactured dust that many silicon/rubber products have. It does have a slight chemical smell but that goes away over time.

This is a large air blaster. I have normal-sized hands but this air blower is a little big for my hands and at times it can be difficult to squeeze. But if you get a good squeeze on it will blow the dust off your sensitive electronics.

Staoptics Air Blaster Large Compressed Blower Bulb

I prefer the rocket blowers such as the Giottos Rocket Air Duster but, this one is nice. I use it to blow dust and debris off my keyboard, notebook computers, and media server. I normally do this with the computers off so it doesn’t blow dust or create static that could damage stuff or damage the exhaust fans while the computers are running.

Final Thoughts

Oversized Blower Bulb

If you need a large air blower, Staoptics Air Blaster Large Compressed Blower Bulb is a good manual option. You can use it to blow the dust out of your electronics without the worry of damaging your equipment you might get from a can of air duster.
