This week’s random image is of abandoned entrance to an old business converted into a residence in Union Church, Mississippi. I’ve passed this old building for years and I’ve been watching it slowly returning back to nature. Its an Unwelcome Entrance…

An Unwelcome Entrance

An Unwelcome Entrance

I don’t know what it is but I love old doors, entrances, and windows. The more abandoned, industrial, or rustic the better. On a recent trip to Mississippi I made a trip out to the Natchez area and as I was passing through Union Church I decided to finally stop and take a closer look around.

One of the old building looks like it was maybe a general store and other I have no clue.

Just looking at this old entrance, it gives off an unwelcoming vibe.

About the Image

The Unwelcome Entrance image  was shot on a late rainy afternoon. I used my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS lens and a mono pod. The image was then edited with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs A.I. Clear  and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
