This week’s random image is of an old hidden church in the Woods in Mississippi. This picture was taken on a recent road trip to Mississippi.
Hidden Church in the Woods
I’ve been to this old church several times over the years and each time I visit it gets a little worse. The is the old Piedmont Church. Its a family church and from what I was told, some of the family is still in the area and someone is maintaining the property. But sadly the front doors are now missing and several more windows were knocked out.
Although this church is still in good enough shape to save, I don’t see it lasting much longer if the windows and doors aren’t sealed up.

The image was shot on a late rainy afternoon. I used my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS lens and a mono pod. The image was then edited with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs A.I. Clear and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
