It’s been about a month since my last random image post. Over the last few months it’s been a little crazy for us. Everything from medical issues (resolved now), rebuilding/modeling the 40+ year old horse stables on the property, visiting family, and a road trip to visit family in Mississippi.  Now that things are starting to get back to normal, I’m wanting to kick things off with a random picture from my recent road trip. This week’s random is of the Christ Episcopal Church in Church Hill, Mississippi Roof Top Cross.

In early May I made a quick trip out to Mississippi to pick up my new truck. During that trip I had planned to do a little exploring in areas of Mississippi I can’t take my Subaru or My little SUV. But the weather was so bad that most of those back roads were too muddy or washed out to drive my 4 wheel drive truck on.  So I went to a few other places including the Christ Episcopal Church in Church Hill and took a few retake pictures of the exterior including this image of the cross.

In the next few months I plan on sharing more images and the history of the church.

“Christ Church, in Church Hill, Mississippi is a Mission Station of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, and a Partner-in-Mission to Trinity Church, Natchez.  Christ Church was the first Episcopal congregation founded in the State of Mississippi, in 1820, and the current church building, built in 1857, is a national landmark.” – Christ Episcopal Church
