Modern Abandoned Church in Caddo Parish, Louisiana – What I know

I know absolutely nothing about this church. It was so overgrown I couldn’t get close enough to see the details. I doubt there’s anything on the inside that might help. During my next visit I plan on getting a closer look.

Sadly, this old church may have lost its history, like so many small town rural churches. A lot of times these small congregation churches close their doors when all their members pass away or move out of the area. A lot times the congregation is absorbed into another church or they part ways and go to different churches in the area.

About the Image

The church was shot from the roadside on a bright sunny mid afternoon. I shot this house from the road. I used my Sony a6000 with my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS. I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
