This week’s random image is of an abandoned farmhouse east of Hazlehurst, Mississippi I stumbled across as I was driving out to small cemetery to photograph.

Abandoned Farmhouse East of Hazlehurst, Mississippi  – Condition

I was driving from Monticello to Hazlehurst only taking backroads when I came across a couple of old farmhouses. One isn’t all that old or it was updated at some point in its history.

Unlike that farmhouse, this one looks to be a lot older and looks like its about ready to be torn down. After looking over the photos, I decided this view was the only one that was interesting enough to share.

I’m curious about its history but I doubt there isn’t much history or any at all. If you recognize this old house and know more, please contact me.

About the Image

The image was shot on a sunny late afternoon. I shot this house from the road and zoomed in to see details. I used my Sony a6000 with my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS. I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
