This week’s random image decision happened when I was going through my old archive pictures from my July 2017 West Texas Road Trip to see if I could save any of the discards. I was able to save a few of them. This image is actually another shot of image of an old West Texas Farm House that I posted back in July 2019. With a little more skill at editing I was able to save the picture using several new pieced of post processing software packages.
West Texas Abandoned Farm House – Revisited
I came across this West Texas Abandoned Farm House after passing through Jacksboro, Texas. I am not sure where this old house is located. I’ve passed through Jacksboro multiple times over the last few years and I’ve never seen this house. If I remember correctly, I choose a different route to head home from Jacksboro. I just can’t remember where I found it.
This old farm house would have been a beauty in its day. Sadly, it sits forgotten. If anyone knows this house and can tell me more. Please contact me.
About the Image
West Texas Abandoned Farm House was shot on a bright sunny day in July using my Sony a6000 Camera and with a Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 Lens from the fence line. I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to crop, clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
Neat old house
