Abandoned Plaster Farm House in Knox County, Texas

My friend stumbled onto the Abandoned Plaster Farm House in Knox County, Texas on our way to Paducah, Texas to do a little exploring before heading further into the West Texas and the Panhandle.

The house was surrounded by cotton and calling us to take pictures of the old house. This house is a rare find. Although its a small house, it was plastered over at one time. Through my travels in Texas I rarely find houses that have been plastered over.

Sadly, the house won’t last much longer, its in bad shape and waiting for one good storm or a tornado to level it.

About the Image

This old house was shot in directly late morning sunlight with my Sony a6000 and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 lens. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom CC. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom CC. I used Topaz Labs A.I. Clear and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
