August 31st 2019 was the 12th year that the guys over at THEM! Car Club has hosted the Invasion Car Club in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas and it was another great show. There weren’t as many car as past years but that’s because it rained most of the morning. Only those die hard car show guys showed up. I’ve had some time to go through and edit some images from the show. Below are a few pictures this round of editing.

2019 Invasion Car Show – Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas

 2019 Invasion Car Show

The Invasion Car Show is an event that happens every Labor Day Weekend in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas hosted by the THEM! TX Car Club. For years, the show has been held on Elm Street from 10:00 AM and ends around 6:00 PM. If its to hot, the cars and crowds start thinning out around 4:00 PM. Later in the evening, Trees and several other clubs will have after parties with live Rockabilly bands through out the night.

The Show is a pre 1964 traditional rods and kustoms event. The show features bad ass kustoms, rats and other hot rods. In additional to the rides, there is great food from the local bars/restaurants/food trucks, live rockabilly bands, and more.

If you like old cars, rat rods, led sleds, or just like the Rockabilly lifestyle this is a great event to check out. I go almost every year. Check out some of the images from some of the earlier shows.

About the Images

For this event I used my Sony a6000 and Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G. The images were stabilized with my SunPak Monopod. The images were processed with Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs A.I. Clear and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the images, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
