A few months ago I started a new job and the training has been crazy. Studying for the certifications required for the job has me studying about 55 hours a week 6 or 7 days a week. On January 6th my wife and I met her brother in Waxahachie, Texas where we spent the afternoon at a small brewery near downtown. Afterward, my wife decided to explore the downtown square. One of my favorite things I like to do is photograph old buildings (find them on my Instagram Page) at night. Today’s is called Downtown Waxahachie, Texas at Night.

It shouldn’t be surprising but Waxahachie was a busy place. There were a handful of places open on the square so I couldn’t get good shots and I didn’t want to spend much time there since we needed to get home to let our dog out.
The square still had some Christmas lights up and lit up. At some point, I want to come during the season late enough at night that there won’t be much traffic on the square.

The shots were taken with my New Google Pixel 7 Pro and edited in Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI, Topaz Labs Sharpen AI, and Aurora HDR (no longer available but still a great product) to clean up the images.
