Today, I want to talk about one of those factors and that is how fast your website loads. Google mentioned that one of the factors that could effect your search rankings.

Take a good look at your site and watch how fast it loads. If you think it loads fast enough, use Google Page Speed Tools to analyze how fast your site is. If they grade it lower than 90/100 then its time to speed up your site.

How to Speed Up Your WordPress Site

To speed up WordPress, its not all that hard, but if you haven’t done it in a while, it could take some time. I try and do small clean ups every few months, but once I year I always do a big clean up and speed up on all my sites. For new sites and clients I also use this time to work on the on-page SEO to help building traffic.
