Copied directly from Topaz Lab Blog Post –
- Updated RAW model – We’ve added support for additional RAW formats, including Fujifilm and DJI, as well as great support for linear DNG and non-RAW file formats.
- Refreshed file saving experience – In addition to improving the overall DeNoise AI standalone file saving experience, we’ve added the ability to overwrite files.
- Stability improvements and bug fixes – Fixes include no longer have the same auto settings applied in batch view, elimination of various memory leaks, and an issue preventing closing DeNoise AI when no image(s) are loaded
Updated RAW Mode
DeNoise AI has always been good with noise reduction. It’s not perfect but with each update, the reduction gets better. The system already supports a lot of camera models but with this recent release, they added support for Fujifilm Cameras and improved support for DNG images. You can now take advantage of DeNoise AI for mobile phones that shoot RAW DNG images such as using the iPhone RAW image feature.
Topaz Labs also updated their DeNoise features to work with TIFF, JPEG, and PNG. I’ve used the program with TIFFs and JPEGS in the earlier versions and it still works. But the updated versions should work better.
Refreshed File Saving Experience
In DeNoise AI v3.3 Topaz Labs updated the saving processing from accidentally overwriting the file in certain circumstances. Because of this change, the software broke the external editor workflow for Mac Users using non-Adobe host applications such as Capture One and Apple Photos. The error prevented the software from overwriting the image file sent to DeNoise AI from the host application.
The developers also redesigned the Save Dialog box to make it more clear for how you want to save the file.
Stability Improvements and Bug Fixes
In addition to the updates mentioned above, Topaz Labs DeNoise AI v3.6 includes bug fixes that include stability improvements.
