I use UGREEN’s KVM switch (review coming soon) to switch between my work laptop and my personal computer and it works great. But when I’m working in the living room using my Raspberry Pie 5 or using my personal laptop at the coffee table and need an extra screen, I use the UGREEN USB C to HDMI 2.1 Adapter 8K. It’s a great option for those who need to convert USB-C to HDMI.

The Review
I haven’t used it as much as I would prefer, I’ve been too busy to work on my other computer projects. However, this little adapter is my go-to when I need to adapt USB-C to HDMI. It works great and I haven’t had any issues.
First Impressions of the UGREEN USB-C to HDMI
The UGREEN USB C to HDMI 2.1 Adapter 8K comes in simple to open package and is nicely displayed. The unit itself was designed to be left out on your desk on display. It’s elegant and not to flashy. It looks like it’s built to last.
Usage
It worked right out of the box for my window pcs and my Raspberry Pie 5 computer. I haven’t tried on an iOS or a Chromebook but my guess it will work fine.
Conversion is nice. I do not have a screen nice enough to take advantage of the 8K but for now its future proofing since I will be updating my monitors, and I may end up getting a new monitor that doesn’t have a Thunderbolt option or I’m using my KVM and have the need for the adapter.
So far, I found the video/audio to be good and everyday tasks work great with as well. Not much else say about it.
