Review: DEEBYCOO 11.5 Digital Writing Tablet

Earlier this year I reviewed the Boogie Board Writing Tablet and now I’m back with another digital writing tablet option called the DEEBYCOO 11.5 Digital Writing Tablet. Back in March Amazon sent me this product to review as part of their free product reviews program and I wanted to share my experiences with this product as a professional tool I used for several months and found incredibly useful.

DEEBYCOO 11.5 Digital Writing Tablet – The Review

In my earlier writing tablet review I mentioned – It’s a growing concern for companies to keep sensitive customer and employee data secure. Companies may have a great system in place for the digital storage of the information and even a secure shred service to deal with paper documents. Shredding services are great in theory but not everyone in the office will follow the policy. This could be because think they information isn’t valuable to bad characters, they forget they have sensitive data in a paper notebook, or they are lazy and don’t want to get up and take the paperwork over to the shredder/shredding service lockbox.

My employer prefers us to use a secure note system unless the notes provide nothing of importance, and we still need to shred them at the end of the day if it is something we aren’t required to keep.

Several of our team managers are recommending the use of digital writing tablets instead of paper because these tablets are one-and-done-taking systems. Just hit a button and it automatically deletes the work and cannot be copied over to the computer (some digital writing tablets use apps to help transfer notes to the computer).

As much I like the Boogie Board, I wanted a larger writing surface and a way to save notes from accidentally deleting them. This is where the DEEBYCOO 11.5 Digital Writing Tablet comes in handy. The below product specs were copied directly from the Amazon sales page.

In the Office Review

When I first started using the writing tablet, I used daily for about 8 hours a day taking notes and deleting them when I needed to. Today, I the tablet sits in my bag or on the desk next to me ready for some heavy-duty note-taking.

The board is made well and easy to use. Writing is made easy with the fine-tip stylus (larger styluses can be used, I tried my Apple Pen, and it worked). Once the board is full of notes and you need it all cleared, just hit the delete button. If you need to save the notes to finish up later, there is a lock button that keeps the accidental erasing to work.

Another great feature is that the battery is easily replaceable. It is just a popular watch battery that you can pick up off amazon or a big box store.

The case is a nice feature. It works as a tablet stand or a way to protect the screen from scratching.

Final Thoughts

I’ve been using the DEEBYCOO 11.5 Digital Writing Tablet since March and love it. It’s a great product and could be the perfect addition to your office tool kit or your child’s note-taking system.
