Bob-omb Sighting in McKinney, Texas

Bob-omb Sighting in McKinney, Texas

As you head North of Central Expressway, just pasted HWY 121 you will three abandoned buildings. One is a warehouse that is set back and out of the way to the other shed like buildings near the frontage road.

These buildings were a little far off the road with a barbed wire fence keeping me from getting any closer. But I did crop the image, for a better look at the image.

About the Bob-omb Art Work

Bob-omb Sighting in McKinney, Texas

Lately I have been seeing these guys pop up at the strangest places. Many times, its covered up before I can get back there with a camera to document it.But, the Bob-omb sighting in McKinney, Texas first was the first one I found on my own and hasn’t been painted over yet.

As for the why, I haven’t found one yet. All I know is the artist is unknown and the artist’s work can be found through out the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, along I-35 (both directions) to Austin, and a few places in Austin as well. Please contact me with your sightings. I would love to document the locations….

About the Images

Shot taken with a Sony Nex-3N/B w/ E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS PZ kit lens. I then processed it with Adobe Lightroom to crop, straightened, and remove dust spots from the image. After that, I post processed the image with Topaz Labs Clarity to add more texture, remove shadows, boost brightness and contrast.

The close up was cropped with Lightroom and cleaned up with Topaz Clarity. Once I get my new telephoto lens in, I plan on going back and reshooting to get more detail…More images coming soon, if it hasn’t been painted over.
