This week ’s random image is of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Denison, Texas. I’ve been passing by this old church and purposely going out of my way to drive by and try and get some pictures of the church. About a year ago one of those trips paid off and I was able to get some pictures!
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Denison, Texas
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church is one of my favorite churches in town and may even be one of my favorites in Texas. Every time I pass by the church I have to take a look. Its an impressive church. There is so much detail in the design and I love the stain glass. I haven’t been inside and would love to photograph the inside. The pictures I found online show the interior is even more impressive. One day I hope to have the chance to photograph the interior of the church. To learn more about the church and see more pictures, check out the article I wrote over at VanishingTexas.net
About the Image
Image was shot from the parking on a gloomy day. The power lines and power poles made it difficult to photograph and edit. I plan on returning and try my luck again. I used my Sony a6000 with my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS. I then edited the image with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
