As with many of these old farm houses I find, there isn’t any information about the house or its history. Its lost history. When I looked up the property deed its shows its changed hands a few times over the last few years and the current owners looks to be an investor or an investor group. With this area growing rapidly this 100+ acre farm cold be a neighborhood in the near future.
About the Image
Image not happy with the image. I can’t get a good shot from this distance. I’m going to give it another try when I have some more time. I might even try to shoot with my telephoto lens on a tripod or at the very least a monopod so I can get a steady shot and hopefully get a sharper image. Once I’m happy with the image or get permission to go on the property for a closer look I will share my results.
The abandoned farm house found on the backroads of Farmersville, Texas was shot on a gloomy day using my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS. I then edited the image with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the images, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
