Since buying my Google Pixel 7 Pro I’ve been able to capture some decent shots to great shots that I want to make prints for. When I first took a look at this picture, I thought it didn’t come out all that well. Then again, I was on my iPad 10th generation using Snapseed and Adobe Lightroom to edit the image and that software isn’t designed to easily recover some of the issues a cellphone has when taking photos.

This particular shot was taken as I was trying to cross the parking of an Aldi’s and for every second it took for me to get to a good spot to frame up the shot, I was losing the pretty colors in the sunset. So, I decided to stop and just shoot it.

A Busy Life

Back in November I started a new job (I’m keeping that personal) in a different field, and I have to learn a whole new skill set before I can move into the role I want to do. The training is intense, and I’ve been in training since I started and will be in for another month. Between new/old health issues popping up and the new job life has been stressful. Even though I get all holidays and my weekends off I’ve been so tired I haven’t wanted to work on my photography or the websites. Lately I’ve been wanting to get back into it. So, starting today I’ve decided to bring the Random Image of the Week Series back. It may not be every week, but I’ll do my best to try and get one out.

About The Image

This shot was taken with my New Google Pixel 7 Pro. It was post-edited in Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI, Topaz Labs Sharpen AI, and Aurora HDR (no longer available but still a great product) to clean up the image. You can create the same effects from Aurora HDR with Luminiar Neo (partner discount codes: JJOHNSTPHOTOG10 – 10% off or JJOHNSTPHOTOG – $10 off) and edit your images.
