This week’s random image of the week is another shot from the passenger seat of my brother’s Can-Am Side-By-Side. This shot is called splash down because we crossed the river at my brother’s river camp.
Splash Down!
One of the fun parts about having a cabin along the Homochitto River is the beautiful sandy beaches and clear water. During those hot summer afternoons, it’s a great place to cool off. On the weekends you will see people playing in the water, four-wheelers, and side-by-sides cruising the shorelines, crossing the river, and exploring the trails of the camp.
I took this shot with my old Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I edited with Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI, Aurora HDR (no longer available but still a great product), and Luminiar Neo to clean up the images.
The shot was taken as my brother hit the river just fast enough that the Can-Am wouldn’t bog down but not so fast that the speeds were dangerous. Lucky for us the water was only a few feet and water didn’t get into the cab area.
