Thoughts on the Sony 24.3 MP a7K (Alpha 7 ILCE-7K/B)
Over the last few years, I have been impressed with Sony’s line of mirrorless and DSLR cameras. At first I was a die hard Canon fan from back in the days of film cameras. Then when the DSLRs took off, my thoughts on Canon changed. Then I got my hand on a few Nikon DSLRs. I tried out the both beginner level and Professional cameras and knew my next DSLR purchase would be a Nikon.
But now, I’m not so sure I want to go that route. Recently, I purchased Sony Nex-3n (review coming soon) and I love the camera. Its fast, it takes great picture, but the lens that came with it has to be upgraded.
Since purchasing the Sony NEX-3n, I have been thinking about purchasing one of the Sony full-framed cameras as my main camera or go with the NEX-7. But after reading about the new a7 and the a7R, I can have the best of both worlds. I can have a full-framed sensor in the compact size of a mirrorless camera. These two cameras are definitely going on the list of high end cameras.
