I got some more images from the 2019 Fire & Ice Jeep Run at Hot Springs ORV Park edited. This set of pictures are of the Jeeps I road with Saturday morning. As you can tell, we choose to take the trail less traveled and took the hard way instead of the instead of the easy trail next to us.
Fire & Ice Jeep Run at Hot Springs ORV Park
Why is it called Fire & Ice? Its the south, and that means the temps can either be hot or cold. Each year its different. This year it was raining, hazy, and in the 60s. In past years its been in the 70s or its freezing and snowing.
2019 Fire & Ice Jeep Run at Hot Springs ORV Park
As I mentioned in my previous Fire & Ice Jeep Run article, the weather wasn’t to cold or hot, just wet and foggy. Plus, my work schedule didn’t allow for me to stay through New Years. Next year I plan on going again if I can find an open seat.
I am currently available for Jeep and other off road events. If you need some one to photograph your adventure, please contact me so we can work something out.
About the Images
The images were shot over two days in low light with rain and haze. Because of the bad weather a lot of edits were needed. I used my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS without a flash or with a Pixel On Camera LED Light. I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
