Lets face it, mobile devices are here to stay. Everything from notebooks, smartphones and now tablets make life easier for those that live a mobile life. For some, they are so mobile they are able to get rid of their notebooks and carry only a smartphone and a tablet and still get that accomplish their tasks throughout the day.
Mobile devices are getting some popular you senior citizens pulling out their iPhone to text a family member or a young mother hand off their tablet to their toddlers to keep them occupied in a store. The best part is they can navigate a tablet better than some adults! Image Source: TrendBlog.net
With today’s smartphones, you can do almost anything on them. I honestly believe that people use their non-voice apps than they use their voice services on the phone. If they have to make phone call, they might try a video chat first, then use their voice service for calls they can’t make using other apps.
The Mobile Consumer
One new trend that is growing every day is the option to purchase goods and services via your mobile device. In same cases, some may even grab their tablet or smartphone to purchase something instead of going over to their desktop.
As this trend grows, businesses need to look into updated their online profiles and their ecommerce sites. If a business has a site that isn’t mobile friendly, that business is going to loose business. At first, it might not be noticeable, but in the near future, business owners, will notice a decrease online revenue.
