A few weeks ago I posted some images from the Helping Out Our Neighbors Car Show and this week I wanted to continue with that post with the final 11 images from that day.
On December 26th, 2015 tornadoes hit North, Texas and devastated parts of Dallas, Rowlett, Copeville, Nevada, Farmersville, Princeton, Blue Ridge several and towns west of Dallas.
During the weeks following the tornadoes, I found many of the houses and businesses along highway 78 were damaged or destroyed. But from what I can tell, Rowlett may have been hit the hardest.
When driving down HWY 66 you can see entire neighbor streets where the houses are gone or had the roofs ripped away.
Within hours after the storms passed the communities united together and helped their neighbors as best they could. Many donations came in from area churches and charities, people from as far as Florida arrived within a few days to help others clean up.

The show was a great success. Over two hundreds vehicles showed up and a handful of vendors were on site as well.

Below are eleven images taken at the car show with more being next week. All images were shot with an old Nikon D5000 and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR during a sunny and cold early afternoon day and edited the images in Adobe Lightroom. Next, I post processed with Topaz Clarity to add texture, brighten, and bring out the details in the images
