Have you ever tried to uninstall a program using Windows Add or Remove Programs and it fails? Not only do you want to get rid a program, now you can’t even use it, reinstall it, or delete it. What are you to do?
Just a few weeks ago, this happened to me while working on a client’s computer. Windows Add or Remove Programs says the program didn’t exist, but that was a lie. I found that yes some of the files were removed, but for some reason, the registry entries and a few select files were still present and I couldn’t even do a manual removal of the files because the system thought the program was still active.
At this point, I knew that the Windows uninstaller wasn’t going to work and that I needed to use a powerful aftermarket uninstaller. In the past I had heard of several programs that worked great and one of those programs came highly recommended by several tech magazines.
I decided to use Revo Uninstaller to remove the fail program.

There is a free version and a professional version available. The free one works great but the features are limited. They do offer a 30 day free trial download. So download the pro version and see what it can do for you.
