The Christmas Lights at Vitruvian Park in Addison, Texas
From late November Until January 1st, 2016 the Christmas Lights at Vitruvian Park in Addison, Texas are lit up and open to the public. Every small and large tree through out the park and surrounding streets are wrapped with a solid color LED Christmas lights.
I do not remember seeing or hearing anything about the park being light last year, but hopefully they continue to do so next year. I want to reshoot the park with my new camera gear and a not so windy day.
If you missed the Christmas lightshow this year, make sure to check the park’s website next November to see if they light up the park.
About the Images
The images were long exposure shots with an old Nikon D5000 and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR on a windy and rainy night. My photographer friend and I were lucky enough to catch a break in the rain and a short period of time when the wind wasn’t gusting. So most of our shots were shot between gusts.
