A few months back Amazon sent me the UGREEN Uno 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W to review and I have to say it’s a fun little MagSafe Charger. It’s currently hooked up to a generic USB-C cable (you can find a great selection of UGREEN USB-C cables on Amazon) next to our TV in the living room ready to charge her iPhone 12.

UGREEN Uno 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W – The Review

UGREEN

The UGREEN Uno 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W comes in a nice manufacture box that displays features and pictures of the charger in action. It’s internal packaging is nicely done as well. It isn’t going to get banged up during shipping.

First Impressions

After pulling the charger out of the box I found it to be heavy. It’s has a cute fun design to it. It looks like a little robot and as it charges the face changes. I love it! Although it works great for charging an iPhone it took away the option for us to charge an Apple Watch. It will only USB-C 5 watt for the watch, MagSafe devices, and AirPods.

This charger comes with a short USB-C to USB-C cable. Its a generic unbranded cable. You will need to provide your own 15-to-30-watt charger. (If you need a good USB-C Cable and 30-watt wall charger, check out the Nexode 30W USB-C Charger).

UGREEN MagSafe Charging

As to charging, you mount the phone on the top charging pad. You can leave it flat or adjust it, so the phone screen is viewable while charging. If the charging pad is flipped up, you can place your EarPods in the charging space provided and it will slowly/safely charge your earbuds.

Charging

According to the Amazon Sales Page, UGREEN says that this charger will charge your iPhone from 0 to 41% in 30 minutes. I found that this is the case. But my wife mostly uses the charger for quick charging top offs when it gets low and she’s watching TV with me. I found it takes less than hour to charge from 20% to 100%.

The magnet is strong. Our dog has walked by and bumped the charger with his tail and it stayed connected. While connected, the charger and phone get warm. Around the charging area it gets hot to the touch. Don’t worry too much, it’s not going to burn you.

Final Thoughts

The UGREEN Uno 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W  is a great charger. It’s fast, reliable and works with MagSafe products. I haven’t tried charging a pair of Air Pods and that’s only because I don’t have a pair to try. If this charger isn’t the one for you, make sure to check out UGREEN.com for all your charging needs.
