If you read some of my recent articles, I mentioned starting a new job that has a hybrid work week (several days at home and the rest at work. The Ratio depends on your team) and part of the reward for passing the first part of the training (almost 3 months) was a company swag bag including the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo and a new Dell Monitor (review coming soon).

Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo – Features

I had to pull information from several sites including Logitech’s website. This is an older keyboard set that looks like they may have updated it over the years but kept the model number.

The Review

Unboxing the new Logitech keyboard and mouse combo

I have a problem and its keyboards. I have a lot of them and prefer premium quality keyboards. They are normally gaming quality mechanical keyboards and I prefer the mice to be the same (I still use a 10+ year Logitech gaming mouse for an old ASUS ROG Gaming Laptop of the same age I use for side projects).

I’ve been using the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for several weeks and have it setup as my secondary desk. It’s setup on the top of an old dresser that sits at perfect height for a standing desk surface. So, I setup the new Dell Monitor, keyboard/mouse combo and my older Alienware Computer that I use for content writing, travel and need a powerful computer. On days I want to working standing up I setup the work computer at that workstation and stand for a while and get work done.

First Impressions

Logitech keyboard and mouse combo

The keyboard and mouse combo comes nicely packaged. After I inspected everything, I realized very quickly that the mouse is way too small for long term use. This is only an issue with large hands. If you have small hand, then the mouse should work for you. The keyboard is made as well as Logitech’s cheaper’ keyboard lines. The buttons are smooth and soft to the touch. Honestly for typing for long periods of time they are comfortable and for someone that is used to a softer keyboard touch, this one is a great option.

Connectivity

USB Dongle

Once the batteries are installed you can turn the combo on and plug in the USB dongle. After a few seconds Windows installed the needed drivers (Windows automatically found the combo and started working before the installed drivers) and I was using the combo to get some work done.

Battery Life

The batteries come installed. All you need to do is pull the sticker blocking the contacts.

The mouse requires a single Double A battery and can installed from the bottom of the mouse. The Keyboard requires 2 Double A batteries and is also accessed from the back. As to battery life, it’s still too early to know how long the keyboard/mouse set will last.

Usage

Soft keys on the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo

I’ve mostly used the keyboard combo setup on my Windows 10 computer and written some content, surfed the internet and just general navigation to test out the mouse. I then connected the set to my Samsung Chromebook, and it worked great. It found it instantly, made a quick update and it was ready to go in less than a minute.

Final Thoughts

So far, I’m impressed with the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo and will continue to use it at my standing desk workstation. I may upgrade the mouse at some point (I do have an Acer Travel Mouse that is slightly bigger and will use that as a backup in the future). But for now, the mouse is working fine and I’m getting use to its size. I will update the review if I come across any issues.

If you are looking for a cheap wireless keyboard and mouse combo from a reliable company, you need to give the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo a try. As of this writing, you can find the combo listed from multiple retailers and I have linked to an Amazon sales page (private seller) (affiliate referral link)
