A few months ago Anker released their first ever Alkaline batteries. A few weeks ago I picked up a couple of the battery packs while they were on sale. Today’s article is a quick review of the Anker Alkaline AA Batteries and Anker Alkaline AAA Batteries.

Anker Alkaline AA Batteries & Anker Alkaline AAA – The Review
Anker has been successful company with known reliability in the portable battery and cell phone accessories business. In recent years, the company has branched out into audio products, power tools, dash cams, smart devices, and security devices. The companies has millions of satisfied and happy customers.
I’ve been using Anker products for several years and have been a happy users for those purchases. So when Anker announced their new line of Alkaline batteries was I excited.
Once I used up my large supply of double AA and AAA batteries I purchased two sets of batteries. I purchased the Anker Alkaline AA Batteries 24 pack and a 24 pack of Anker Alkaline AAA Batteries. Both AA and AAA on sale plus 50% off coupon code!
Its difficult to test batteries like these. They either work or they don’t and to run the tests takes time and burning up good batteries. So I will give you my impressions and what I’m using them for at the moment.
Unlike many name branded Alkaline battery packs, these do not come in a clear plastic pack that displays the batteries. Anker’s batteries come in their standard white and blue box. The AAA come in a then narrow box with 3 packs of plastic wrapped of 8 batteries.
The AA batteries come in a larger box with in a box. The inner box has the lightning bolt logo that splits in half displaying the tops of the batteries. The batteries are wrapped in twos in plastic.
Both boxes are heavy when fully loaded are heavy. They almost feel like they may be heavier than similar batteries. But that could be my imagination.
Without taking the batteries apart (don’t do this, its dangerous) they look like they are well made and only time will tell us how long they will really last and if they will leak.
So far, I have them installed in remotes, a wireless mouse and in my camera flash. So far I’m impressed with the batteries. I’ve already noticed how well they work with my flash. The flash resets faster and each set batteries last longer.
If you are looking to find a better battery that is designed to be stored for 10 years, not leak and designed to work at the required device power needs and conserve power for future use, then this the battery for you.
Currently they are available on Amazon in 24 and 48 packs. Make sure to check for Amazon coupon. Anker puts these on sale from-time-to-time. Even without the discounts these pack can be cheaper than the batteries you find at the store.
