Wind Blown Abandoned Farm House in West Texas

Back in March 2018 my friend and I went out to north west Texas for a little rural exploring. On our way to our main stop I spotted an old farm house sitting back from the highway surrounded by wind generating windmills. After figuring out how to get to the house we arrived to find an old wind blown abandoned farm house with a few other surprises.

This old house has been abandoned for years  and those west Texas winds have shifted the house and almost pushed it over.

We never found the history of this old house and hope there is a little history to save. If you know anything about this old house, let us know. We’d love the share that information with everyone. Just image would history has been lost in this old house.

About the Images

The abandoned farm house was shot by hand in late in the afternoon with my Sony a6000 and the Sony 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 OSS Power Zoom Lens. We plan to go back and shoot the old farm house again.
