This week’s random image of the week is of the Old Farmhouse on the hill in Anna, Texas. It was located on an old ranch in Collin County. This old house is one of my favorites and I have some good news about the house.
The Old Farmhouse on the Hill
The old farmhouse was located on a multi-generation farm/ranch near Melissa and Anna, Texas. About a year ago I was doing some research on this 120+-year-old house and realized it was no longer on the property. I originally thought the house was demolished or destroyed after a tornado passed through the area.
A few months ago I found out that the house was moved to a nearby property and was to be restored. I haven’t been able to confirm this yet but I Hope to make it out that way soon to confirm this.

About the Image
The old farmhouse on the hill image was shot on a gloomy day. I used my Sony a6000 and my Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 lens. The image was then edited with Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI, Aurora HDR, and Luminar AI to clean up the image.
