The congregation first held services in 1908 in a school or at house. In 1910 the first Church edifice and this building was built in 1936. Its sat empty for years and the community tries to keep the building up.

But sadly over the years vandals have had their way with the building by knocking out the stain glass and damaging the church in other ways.

About the Image

The image was shot with an old Nikon D5000 and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR during a warm gloomy afternoon as a large storm system was coming into the area. I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
