This week’s random image of the week is another image from the West Texas road trip I took back in 2017. This one is of another one of the abandoned Buick sitting in the grass near Cross Cut, Texas.

Sitting near the old farm truck I posted about a while back sits an old Buick and a few other vehicles in the tall grass.

I didn’t get close to the car. The grass was tall and it was snake season. From the road this old car looks like someone’s old family car. The family probably got a new car and retired this one and forgot about it. If I ever make my way out that way again, I plan on stopping by for more pictures.

About the Image

I shot the old Buick on a bright and sunny early afternoon with my Sony a6000 and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 lens. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom CC. I used Topaz Labs A.I. Clear and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
