Old Brick Barns on a Cattle Ranch Near Gainsville, Texas

I came across these old barns on a cattle ranch near Gainsville, Texas when I was out exploring north east of Gainsville. When I saw the old barns I had to stop and take a closer look.

As you can see, the ranch still has cattle but the barns aren’t being used and look to be forgotten. One of the old barns looks to be a milking barn and the other building may have been a ranch hand’s house or maybe another small barn.

I’d love to know more about this ranch and these old buildings.

About the Image

The old brick Barns on a cattle ranch near Gainsville, Texas was shot on a cloudy day in August using my Sony a6000 Camera and with a Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 Lens from the fence line. I then edited the image with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs A.I. Clear and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the image, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
