This week’s random image was taken just after sunset on an impromptu road trip about 30 minutes from the house, exploring the dirt roads as a storm was rolling in. I call this one Backroad Exploring After Sunset.
Backroad Exploring After Sunset
I love these little trips. It’s getting harder to take them. Between my busy schedule and the so-called wheels of progress, a lot of these quiet places are disappearing. Sometimes it’s a lone house on a large tract of land (I prefer this over other options) or a developer goes and tears the landscape for a community. In a few years, I will have to drive over an hour to find places like this that only a few years ago I could find within a few-minute drive in any direction.
About the Image
This image was shot on a hot summer evening just after sunset using my Google Pixel 7 Pro. The image was edited on my iPad 10th Gen. I then used Luminar for iPad and Adobe Lightroom Mobile to clean up the image and other items that were in the way.
If you are more interested in editing from your computer, I also use Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI, Topaz Labs Sharpen AI, and Luminiar Neo. These programs work great together and fill in the gaps where some editors may lack in tools.
