This week’s random picture is of a dirt road in Fannin County, Texas I took last summer (2024) during a trip out to Bonham, Texas. I decided to take a quick side trip down a side road and had to stop and take a quick picture.

Exploring a Dirt Road in Fannin County, Texas

When I see a dirt road and have the time, I have to take a detour and check it out. Sometimes it leads to somewhere interesting, that has a great view, and other times, it’s a boring road that gets too from point A to point B.

This road doesn’t have anything special but the view. I’ve been a few times and have seen some impressive sunsets and storm clouds. During the growing season, it’s also fun to drive down the road and have the hay fields almost up to the sides of the car.

I plan to use this road for future shoots and maybe a few night shoots in the near future.

About the Image

This image was shot on a sunny afternoon using my Google Pixel 7 Pro. The image was edited on my iPad 10th Gen. I then used Luminar for iPad and Adobe Lightroom Mobile to clean up the image and other items that were in the way.
