This week’s random image of the week is of the Old Leonard Lumber Supply Company Building in Leonard, Texas. For some reason, the old building caught my eye. It’s an old brick warehouse. These types of buildings are getting harder to find. I think what caught my eye was the stepped front and the wooden service door. The building can be found just off the square in downtown Leonard

The Old Leonard Lumber Supply Company Building

Leonard Lumber Supply Company

I’ve driven by the old warehouse a few times over the years. From what I can tell, the building is no longer used for lumber supply. The lumber yard no longer has lumber and used to store vehicles. Occasionally. there are items blocking the front doors and the windows looked to be boarded up or at least shuddered.

The Leonard Lumber Supply Company Sign is an old, faded hand-painted sign that can be found on the front and side of the building.

When driving buy it, it usually looks to be abandoned but, on occasion, there will be a vehicle parked in front.

About the Image

This image was shot on a sunny day using my Google Pixel 7 Pro. The image was edited on my iPad 10th Gen. I then used Luminar for iPad and Adobe Lightroom Mobile to clean up the image and other items that were in the way.
