This week’s random image is another shot from the Chicago portion of our 2024 family trip. As you can see it’s the stadium sign for Wrigley Field. One of my favorite sports signs.

Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field

I’m not a big sports fan, but I’m a history fan, and I grew up hearing all the great stories coming out of Wrigley Field. So, when we were heading out of town to our next destination, I had to take a side trip to check out the sign.

Wrigley Field was built in 1914 and is the second oldest park in the majors. The ballpark is the home of the Chicago Cubs. Plus, the park has multiple historic moments in baseball such as Babe Ruth’s “Called Shot” during Game 3 of the 1932 World Series.

About the Image

This image was shot on a sunny day using my Google Pixel 7 Pro. The image was edited on my iPad 10th Gen. I then used Luminar for iPad and Adobe Lightroom Mobile to clean up the image and remove cars, people, powerlines, and other items that were in the way.
