This week’s random image is another one from July 2024 Chicago Trip. It’s the Apple Store from the Chicago River. While exploring the downtown area we didn’t make it that far down Michigan Avenue.
The Apple Store from the Chicago River
I’ll be the first admit we didn’t do the research, we just stumbled around and made it to some of the famous sites like the Original Chicago Stock Exchange Entrance, the Bean, Current Location for the Chicago Stock Exchange, and Grand Central Station.
Our family that’s from the Chicago area recommend we take a river boat tour to see all the famous buildings and get to know Chicago’s history. All done in about an hour.
One of my favorite buildings on that tour was the Apple Store. It has a crazy modern design, and I wish I thought to get a closer look after the tour. We just didn’t have the time and had 2 mile walk back to the hotel.

This image was shot on a sunny day using my Google Pixel 7 Pro. The image was edited on my iPad 10th Gen. I then used Luminar for iPad and Adobe Lightroom Mobile to clean up the image.
