This week’s random image is of an Abandoned Farmhouse South of Bossier City, Louisiana. I came across this old farmhouse as an accident as I was on my way out to Hall Summit to photograph the school.

I  have no clue about this farmhouse. I caught it out of the corner of my eye as I was driving down HWY 71, When I went back and traced my steps I can’t find its location on the map.

The house sits behind a nice black metal gate and back off the highway under a canopy of trees. The property is being maintained. The land around the house is kept cut and the rest of the land is being farmed. At one time this old house was someone’s dream home. It sitting there waiting for someone to restore her.

About the Image

I used my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS lens. The images were then edited with Adobe Lightroom CC, Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AIAurora HDR (no longer available but still a great product), and Luminiar Neo to clean up the images.
