Downtown Honey Grove, Texas is one of my favorite small town downtown in the state. For a small town it has a large down area and a large town square full of used buildings and others that have been empty for years. Many of the buildings were built the time the downtown took off. During a recent trip I decided to explore the downtown area. I stayed about 20 minutes and took a few pictures of southern side of downtown. With the extreme closed weather coming at the time I couldn’t stay that long.

The downtown area has a variety of multi and single story buildings many of them have businesses in them or they are being used for personal use. While other building in the area are abandoned or aren’t being used. Below are a few pictures I took of abandoned and forgotten buildings in town. The images of downtown Honey Grove, Texas were shot on a freezing cold, windy and gloomy day using my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS.  I then edited the images with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the images, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
