During one of my last trips to visit family I was passing through a part of town, I normally do not drive and came across the Mid-Town Records & Tapes in Brookhaven, Mississippi. This old building caught my eye because of its rounded corners and I just had to stop and take a couple of quick pictures.

This now-defunct business looks to have been closed for a few years. I did find an old picture that was posted last year (at least that’s when it was posted) somewhere on social media of the building abandoned with stuff along with going out of business signs.
It looks like the building may have been built in the 1930s with those rounded exterior corners. Sometimes this design was used for service stations and auto repair shops from that era.
If anyone knows more about the history of this building please comment below.
