This week’s random image is of an abandoned truck in Wesson, Mississippi. I came across this old truck sitting in empty lot forgotten and covered in vines.

I have family in town so I visit the area several times a year. When in town, I like to drive through and see what’s changed and admire all the old houses. During my visit in February, I was heading out to the cemetery to visit our family plot and check on my grandparents grave sites. On my way to the cemetery took a way I normally don’t go. That’s when I came across the abandoned truck. I’ve never noticed this truck before but I bet its always covered in vines and hidden away.
The truck is an old heavy duty Ford work truck. It looks like it was used as dump trump. Sadly, its sitting in an empty lot forgotten.
About the Image
The image was shot on a late afternoon as the storms were rolling in. I was able to fix some of the issues in post. I used my Sony a6000 using my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS. I then edited the image with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection
