Samsung 32GB micro SDHC EVO Memory Card – The Review

I’ve been using the Samsung EVO line products for a few a years now. I use their Samsung EVO SSD drives in my production machine and plan on upgrading my notebook hard drive to the same drive in the future. My brother has been using the Samsung 32GB EVO micro SDHC Memory Card in GoPro for a few years. He has a couple of Samsung SD cards and said to me that he’s had other brands in the past and they just don’t last like the Samsungs do. My brother uses them on his Jeep Off Road Trips. These trips are in cold to freezing weather to hot weather in the mountains. It could be raining, snowing, or sleeting and they just seem to last. He depends on the reliability to capture video during the trips.

I now use them in my Sony a6000 with the adapter. It works great and it seems like the picture writing to SD card is faster and think some of the image quality issues I was having are slightly better. I now only use the Samsung 32GB EVO micro SDHC Card and will continue to purchase this line until they are no longer available.

I’m about to get a new Android phone, possibly a Samsung Note 9 and I plan on buying a Samsung EVO Memory Card for it.

Advice

There are a ton of Samsung 32GB micro SDHC EVO Memory Card on the market and my advice is get the one that works best for you. Amazon has some great prices on these cards. The cheaper cards are older models and mostly slower than the new ones. These cards can still work for most applications. If  you are creating videos, I would get the fastest card your electronic device can take.

For music and photo storage, you do not necessarily need the fastest card on the market. But it will speed up file transfer. I still would suggest getting the fastest card you can for your budget.

I highly recommend this card if you are using older GoPro Lines that limit the transfer speed and limit storage size to 32GB, DSLR cameras, Android cell phone/tablet expansion, or any device that requires a 32 GB SDHC card or smaller.

As of this writing you can pick up the Samsung 32GB micro SDHC Memory Card from Amazon and if you need higher capacity you can get the card in 64GB, and 128GB. The 32GB Amazon link will give you the option to choose a size.
