About the Abandoned Building in Sherman, Texas (Demolished 2015)

Honestly, I can not find any information about this building. Across the street is a church, but the design of the old church and this building are different. This building has the feel of an old dormitory, old school, or some other form of an government building.

If I wasn’t in a hurry, I would have asked the next door neighbors who were out at the time. I do plan on going back to this location next time in town. More research and images of this old building is needed. In 2015 I went back out to the old building and I found that it had been recently demolished. I have done some research on this old building and it looks to be an old church. For information check out the complete article.

About the Image

This image was shot by hand with my Sony Nex-3N and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8. I then edited it in Adobe Lightroom. This image is not completely processed since I was on a business trip and only had my my Asus Windows 8.1 Transformer tablet and external screen. The tablet is a little slow to edit images. At some point, this image will be edited with my desktop.
