This week’s random image was taken on a road trip to Mineral Wells, Texas back in June 2013. My wife and I took a road trip from Anna, Texas to Mineral Wells, Texas to visit the abandoned Baker Hotel. I finally finished processing the images and I’ve even been back a few times since then. I will eventually post more pictures. Please contact me if you want to see more right away.
Until I am ready to post more images of the Baker, here is a preview image from that set of images.
The Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells

About this Image
One of my favorite places to visit is the Baker Hotel. Even as this old building lies dormant waiting for a new owner to love her as much as Mr. Baker once did, you can still see the elegance this building once was.
For this image, I shot it with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i just before dark. I then processed the image with Adobe Lightroom and post processed the image with Topaz Labs Clarity and lightened the dark colors and shadows. I then added a light vignetting to take away some of the texture from the background.
