This week’s random image is of the Robeline Lodge #344 in Robeline, Louisiana. I came across this old lodge as I was driving into town and just had to stop for a picture.
Robeline Lodge #344 in Robeline, Louisiana
The lodge is one of the few original or older brick buildings in the downtown area. It sits next to the police station that is another old building that was repurposed. Nearby sits an abandoned Church. At first I thought it was abandoned, but from pictures I can see stuff in there and it looks like its setup for meetings. I haven’t looked all that hard but I did find the lodge is/was having lodge meetings twice a month.
The building looks to be in great shape and maybe still in use or at least being maintained.
If anyone knows more, please contact. I’m interested the lodge/building’s history.
About the Image
The Robeline Lodge #344 was shot on a sunny day using my Sony a6000 and my Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS with a Gobe UV Filter. I then edited the image with Adobe Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Denoise AI and Topaz Labs Sharpen AI and DXO NIK Collection to clean up the images, remove noise, and recover the lost details.
