Last December I decided it was time to update my websites look. I decided the first step was to update my portfolio/personal site and the photoblog first, then find that perfect theme for the new site, Vanishing Texas, that another photographer friend and I are working on.
As I look through my favorite premium WordPress Theme designers, I list my favorite ones, so I can revisit theme, compare theme to others, and eventually pick the right one.
As I worked on the new list that its been almost a year since I posted a similar article. So I thought since that one was so popular that I would share this new list with everyone as well. This list of premium portfolio and photography WordPress Themes has 45 themes that many can be used by photographers, creatives, and even creative service providers.
If you are running a image or video site that sees a lot of traffic you may want to give the guys over at WP Engine a call or just click their banner to see about what hosting service is right for you. Usually high traffic sites need to be on its own server and not on a hosted site.

Coastline was created by CSSIgniter last summer and it’s a professional premium WordPress theme for Photographers. This theme is image heavy. So you need to have a lot of images ready to use. This a great theme for photographers, but I do not think this would be a great choice for someone wanting to display more than their portfolio. It doesn’t have a great design for a static home page or options to show off your services.
